Course of treatment

First visit

The first appointment lasts about an hour. We do a thorough examination to determine your needs and choose the best treatment plan for you. This examination is usually conducted with the help of intraoral and extraoral photos and a panoramic X-ray. During the visit, we will explain the clinical steps, recommended appliances, fees and payment options.

Complete examination

Once you have decided to go ahead with treatment, we will begin collecting clinical data (study models, cephalometric X-ray) needed to complete the diagnosis and build your clinical record. If you wish, the complete examination can be done during your first visit.

Regular appointments

It takes from forty minutes to two hours to install orthodontic appliances, depending on the type. Subsequently, we will see you at regular intervals of four to 10 weeks to perform the necessary adjustments for your treatment. Those appointments will take 20 to 40 minutes.

Payment options and insurance

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the problem. We offer various payment options to suit your budget. We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard, debit card, cheque or pre-authorized debits.

If you have insurance, we can help you with your claims, but the patient is ultimately responsible for payments.
